• Off: Disables the function.
• On (
): Compensates for unstable images caused by
camcorder-shake, particularly at high magnifi cation.
Anti-Shake (HDIS) provides a more stable image when you:
•
Record while zooming
•
Record small objects
•
Record while walking or moving
•
Record through the window of a moving vehicle
•
Smart Auto mode automatically sets "Anti-Shake (HDIS)" to "On."
•
When "Anti-Shake (HDIS)" is "On", is specifi ed, there will be a slight difference between the
actual movement and the movement on screen.
•
Large camcorder shake may not be entirely corrected even if "Anti-Shake (HDIS) : On" is
specifi ed. Firmly hold the camcorder with both hands.
•
We recommend that you turn "Anti-Shake (HDIS)" to "Off" when using the camcorder on a desk
or tripod.
•
When you record photos with 10x or more magnifi cation and the "Anti-Shake (HDIS)" is "On",
in dim places, after-images may stand out. In this case, we recommend using a tripod (not
supplied) and turning the "Anti-Shake (HDIS)" to "Off."
