Das Arbeitsplatzmodul »UCON-Audio-s« Das Arbeitsplatzmodul »UCON-Audio-s« Mit dem Arbeitsplatzmodul UCON-Audio-s integrieren Sie einen Arbeitsplatz in ein CATCenter-System. Zusätzlich ist es möglich an das Arbeitsplatzmodul bis zu zwei lokale Computer anzuschließen. Installation Installation Erforderliches Zubehör Ein Twisted-Pair-Kabel der Kategorie 5 (oder höher) zum Anschluss des Arbeits- platzmoduls UCON-Audio-s an ein CATCenter-System. Je anzuschließendem lokalen Computer ein, mit dem Computer kompatibles Target-Modul (beispielsweise CATpro2-Audio-PS/2 oder CATpro2-Audio-USB). Maximal zwei Twisted-Pair-Kabel der Kategorie 5 (oder höher) zum Anschluss von maximal zwei lokalen Computern an das Arbeitsplatzmodul. -

Inbetriebnahme Anschluss der lokalen Computer HINWEIS: Verbinden Sie den bzw. die lokalen Computer mit jeweils einem Target- Modul (beispielsweise CATpro2-Audio-PS/2 oder CATpro2-Audio-USB). WICHTIG: Die Kabellänge zwischen Target-Modul und Arbeitsplatzmodul darf maximal 5 Meter betragen. CPU1: Stecken Sie hier ein als Zubehör erhältliches Twisted-Pair-Kabel der Kategorie 5 (oder höher) ein. -

Anmelden am CATCenter-System Anmelden am CATCenter-System Nach dem Abschluss des System Startups des Arbeitsplatzmoduls erscheint das Login-Fenster des CATCenter-Systems. Melden Sie sich mit Ihrem Benutzernamen und Ihrem Passwort am System an. Alternativ ist die Umschaltung auf einen der beiden lokalen Kanäle (s. u.) möglich. Kanal-Umschaltung Die Umschaltung zwischen den Kanälen der lokalen Computer und dem Kanal des CATCenter-Systems kann wahlweise über die Taster an der Frontseite des Arbeits-... -

Kanal-Umschaltung Umschaltung mit Tastenkombinationen Im Auslieferungszustand ist die Umschaltung zwischen den am Arbeitsplatzmodul angeschlossenen lokalen Rechnern und dem CATCenter-System über den Hotkey Strg und die Select-Keys F1 bis F3 möglich. WICHTIG: Der zu betätigende Hotkey wird durch die Konfiguration des CATCenter- Systems bestimmt. -

Konfigurationseinstellungen Konfigurationseinstellungen Über das On-Screen-Display (OSD) des Arbeitsplatzmoduls haben Sie die Möglich- keiten den Select-Key der Tastenkombination zur Umschaltung des Kanals zu ändern sowie die Mouse Utilities auszuführen. Änderung des voreingestellten Select-Keys Falls die voreingestellte Tastenkombinationen zur Kanal-Umschaltung mit einer Tastenkombination eines eingesetzten Anwendungsprogramms kollidiert, kann die Tastenkombination des Arbeitsplatzmoduls mit dieser Einstellung angepasst werden. -
Page 11: Ps/2-Maus Aktivieren Oder Zurücksetzen
Konfigurationseinstellungen PS/2-Maus aktivieren oder zurücksetzen PS/2-Mäuse unterstützen – im Gegensatz zu USB-Mäusen – nicht die Hot-Plug- Technik. Aus diesem Grund ist das Einstecken des PS/2-Steckers einer Maus im laufenden Betrieb zwar möglich, das Eingabegerät wird aber möglicherweise vom Target-Modul bzw. dem hieran angeschlossenen Computer nicht erkannt. Um die Aktivierung oder einen Reset der PS/2-Maus eines lokalen Computers zu erreichen, kann durch das CATCenter-System ein spezieller Befehl an den am Tar- get-Modul angeschlossenen lokalen Rechner gesendet werden. -

IMPORTANT: The cable length between target module and user module may not exceed 5 metres. Config settings Activating or resetting the PS/2 mouse Unlike USB mouse devices, PS/2 mouse devices do not support hot plug technol- ogy. You can therefore insert the PS/2 plug during operation but possibly the target module or the connected computer does not detect the input device. To activate or reset the PS/2 mouse of a local computer, a special command can be sent from the CATCenter system to the local computer that is connected to the tar- get module. -
