VHF/UHF Masthead Amplifier
Thanks for purchasing this AP700 Masthead Amplifier.
Before installation,
Please read this manual carefully and keep this manual
for further information.
• For effective amplification of the TV signal received by TV antenna(s) (approximately 30dB)
• Use in weak TV signal areas or for multiple TVs
• Use with individual VHF and/or UHF antennas or a single combination VHF/UHF antenna

1. Attach Head Unit to the mast
using cable tie supplied. (Fig 1)
2. Make connection to Head Unit
as shown (Fig 2).
Close cover after ensuring

cables are attached securely and
(if required)

positioned correctly.

(via "IN" connection
on power supply)
3. Attach the power supply to wall
or skirting board.
A ventilation gap of at least 25mm
should be left around the front and
sides of the unit.
4. Connect the downlead from
the head unit to the "IN" socket.
Connect the output lead from the
socket marked "TV" to the recieving
installation (satellite reciever, VCR,
TV etc). When all connections have
been made, plug power supply into
mains outlet and switch on - Yellow
light will illuminate.
Note: If light shows red colour
there is a short circuit on the "IN"
connection.
TIP: If installing amplifier to old
antenna, ensure antenna is in good
condition and cable terminations
are secure.
