Chapter 9 Troubleshooting

Problem
When pressing the power
button, the brand-new
AUTOID 9/9HC does not
turn on.
The rechargeable battery did
not charge.
No sound.
The brand-new
9/9HC shuts off.
The brand-new
9/9HC does not decode with
reading bar code.
Critically low battery
level or the battery is
completely discharged.
The battery may not be
seated properly.
System crash.
Battery failed.
Battery temperature is
too high or low.
Volume setting is low or
turned off.
The brand-new AUTOID
9/9HC is inactive

Scanning application is

Cause
Fully charge the battery or

seconds to 30 minutes, or
never go into sleep.
