1050 Introduction The Pro-Bel 1050 rackframe is a 19 inch wide 3U high unit, which can accommodate a wide range of ICON modules. Modules may have either a 20mm or 30mm rear connectors. This helps achieve a balance between the total number of modules and connector space for each module.

1050 Step 3. Fit the module locator On the 1050 3U frame, the card guides and rear connector fitting holes use 10mm spacing. However modules can only be fitted at 20mm and 30mm spacing, as determined by the chosen rear connectors. To ease the fitting and removal of modules, once 20mm and 30mm rear connectors are installed for each rack’s complement of cards, module locators may be fitted.
ICON 3RU rack frame Inserting and removing power supplies The 1050 3U ICON frame accepts both main and redundant 1950 universal power supplies which autosense input voltage between 90 and 253 volts and 50-60 Hz. The power supply integral fan provides cooling for itself and all modules. There is an 80mm deep space between the front of the modules and the door to allow the cross flow cooling air to reach each module.
