• Approximate charging time: 5 hours (full charge) MEASURING CONDITIONS The quality of the measurement depends on the surfaces to which you are measuring. • Strongly reflecting targets deflect the laser beam and cause measuring errors. • Non-reflecting, dark surfaces increase the measuring time. - Page 5 Behavior depends on which mode the device is in, as specified below. • Linear, Area, Volume measurement modes: used to add and subtract measurements • Bluetooth selection mode: used to turn Bluetooth on or off • Reference Point mode: used to change the measurement Reference Point to either top/front- end or bottom/back-end of the device.

Linear measurement completed (non-blinking) Area Mode Press until the Area icon appears. With laser on, press to measure Length. Then, measure Width to calculate Area. The entire Area icon will be outlined in red when the calculation is complete. The Area will display at the bottom of the screen. - Page 8 Basic Indirect Height Press until the Basic Indirect Height icon appears. With laser on, press to measure the Diagonal and its corresponding Angle* to calculate the Height. The Height will be outlined in red when the calculation is complete and will display at the bottom of the screen.

With laser on, press to measure the first Diagonal and its corresponding Angle. * Then, measure the second Diagonal and its corresponding Angle* to calculate the Height.
