Enter the User Password or Supervisor Password. If you have forgotten it, contact
Panasonic Technical Support.

When Windows 98 is running, the individual timeout functions of the Setup Utility will
not work. It is necessary to make these settings with the timeout functions of Win-
dows 98 (in [Control Panel] - [Power Management]).
The internal battery maintaining the clock may need to be replaced. Contact Panasonic
Technical Support.

After cutting the power by pressing the power switch for more than four seconds,
slide the power switch to power on and open the application again.
If the program no longer works normally, go to [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel]
-[Add/Remove Programs] to delete the program. Then try installing the program
once again.
When using the computer as a network computer, additional settings may need to
be set depending on the usage conditions. Ask your system administrator or the
person in charge of the network.
The computer must be restarted if suspend or hibernation mode is entered.
Was an attempt made to shut down (or restart) Windows while the computer was
connected to a network drive using a LAN?
With the following procedure, shut down (or restart) Windows after disconnecting the
network drive.

Select [My Computer] on the Desktop with the right button of the touch pad.

Select [Disconnect Network Drive].

Select all of the displayed network drives, and then click [OK].

If the computer enters the power management mode such as the ECO mode/
suspend mode/Hibernation mode or the LCD is closed while the computer is mak-
ing a sound, the computer may produce a strange sound, but this does not indi-
cate a problem.
If the computer has not been used for a long period of time, it may produce an
unusual sound at start up. The sound may continue for a short period of time, but
if the computer starts up in a normal manner, then the problem is not serious. If,
however, the computer fails to start up, contact Panasonic Technical Support.
