Method ONE
Using a Web Browser
Power on
Plug the extender into an electrical
outlet near your router.
Wait until the Power LED
changes to solid blue.
Configure

Launch a web browser and type
http://tplinkrepeater.net in the address
field. Use admin (all lowercase) for both
Username and Password to log in.

Login
If the log in window does not pop up,
please refer to the FAQ > Q1.

Create a new username and password for
log in the web management page, then
click Confirm.
Relocate

Plug the extender into an electrical outlet between your router
(Host Network) and the Wi-Fi "dead" zone. The location you
choose must be within the range of your existing host network.

Wait until the
LED is lit and solid blue. If not, relocate it closer
to the router to achieve a good (or better) signal quality.
Enjoy!
Both extended networks share the same Wi-Fi passwords as those of your host networks,
but may have different SSIDs (network names) if you have customized them during the configuration.

Solid blue: The extender is connected to the
router, and is in a good location.
Solid red: The extender is connected to the
router, but is too far away from the router.
Blinking: WPS connection is in process.
Off: No active connection.
LED button: To turn all LEDs on or off, press the LED button.
Power button: To turn on or off the extender, press the Power button.
1. Unplug the Ethernet cable
from your computer (if any).
2. Click the Wireless
Network Connection icon

on your taskbar.
3. Click the refresh icon
and connect to the
extender's network:

or _5GHz.
