−Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
−Do not run over, crush or pull the power supply cable or
extension lead. Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
−The extension lead must have a cross section in accordance
with the operating instructions and be protected against
moisture (see PAGE 15).
Personal Safety
−Stay alert, use caution and use common sense when operating
the machine. Do not use the machine while you are tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
−Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection. Protective equipment such as dust masks, non-
skid safety shoes or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce the risk of personal injuries. Prevent
unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position
before connecting to the power source and/or battery pack,
picking up or carrying the tool. Do not carry the machine with
your finger on the switch.
−Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
−Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
−Warning! Switch off and remove the plug from mains before
adjusting, cleaning or if the cable is cut, damaged or entangled.
−The machine is double insulated for safety and requires no
