mSATA Wire enclosure
EZ Gig Cloning Software
for Windows
Step 1
Open the mSATA Wire
enclosure by pressing
the buttons on both
sides of the unit.
Step 2
Slide the mSATA drive at a
45 degree angle into the
mSATA connector on the
enclosure.
Step 3
Once the mSATA drive is
inserted into the connec-
tor, push the drive down
into a horizontal position
in the enclosure until you
hear a click.
Step 4
Close the lid on the enclosure
and connect to a USB port.
Once connected run the
included EZ Gig Cloning
Software (see directions below.)
Step 5
Once you have completed
cloning your drive, turn off
your computer and discon-
nect the mSATA Wire.
Remove the drive from the enclosure
and follow the instructions below for
installing your new drive.
BEFORE ATTEMPTING UPGRADE
Important mSATA drive handling information
Discharge static electricity by touching a grounded bare metal
surface or grounding straps before handling the mSATA drive.
Perform the upgrade on a nonconductive or anti static surface.
Avoid direct contact with the circuit card on the drive.
Heat dissipation pad
DO NOT REMOVE
For fastest speeds connect
to a USB 3.0 port.
Open the mSATA Wire
enclosure and remove
the drive by pulling the
two tabs holding the
drive in place outwards.
