OVERLOADING: Do not overload a wall outlet, extension cord or adapter as this may result in electric fire or shock. LIQUID: Do not expose this product to liquid of any kind. In addition, do not place objects filled with liquid on the unit. CLEANING: Disconnect the product from the wall outlet before cleaning.

LIGHTNING, STORM or NOT IN USE: Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and disconnect the LNB or antenna during a thunderstorm or when left unattended and unused for long periods. This will prevent damage to the unit due to lightning and power-surges. EXTRANEOUS OBJECTS: Do not insert any type of object through the openings in the unit, where they can touch dangerous voltage points, damage electronic components or other parts of the unit.

Remote Control Unit (RCU) Installing the Remote Control Batteries Load the batteries as follows: Open the battery cover by pushing in the clip and lifting the cover on the back of the remote control unit. Insert the batteries with their polarities aligned, as indicated inside the battery compartment and replace plastic cover.

HOW TO CONNECT TO YOUR SET TOP BOX Quick Start Guide for Installations 1. Remove Set Top Box from packaging. Insert supplied batteries into the remote control (RCU). 2. Ensure a Smart Card is inserted into the slot on the right side of the Set Top Box.

Additional information Restoring Factory Defaults Resetting to factory defaults can be useful if you have changed some settings and lost some functions. Resetting will restore the decoder back to its original configuration and you will lose all personalized settings. To restore factory defaults: 1.

Once the search is finished, the total number of TV channels and Radio services found are shown. Press “OK” to Close First Time installation and go to live TV. The first time installation is complete. Follow Step 5, to complete VAST registration.

Select USB Storage Device A storage device must be inserted to see full recording functions. Recording Start Lead-time The Recording Start Lead-time can be set between 0 and 30 minutes. Settings - Parental Control Your PIN code enables you to control the programs viewed in your home. The default Parental PIN is 1234 - This PIN may be changed. Keep your PIN secret and choose a PIN you can remember. If you forget your PIN, use the FACTORY RESET to reset the Set Top Box back to the default or by calling the service centre.
