Initial installation

Follow the steps below one by one when using the TV for the fi rst time. Some steps may not be necessary
depending on your TV installation and connection.

Connecting Antenna Cable


Connect an antenna cable to the antenna terminal.
1 Cable without a CATV converter
Cable TV lead-In
2 VHF/UHF antenna
75-ohm coaxial cable (round)

Plug the AC cord into the AC outlet.
F-type connector should be fi nger-
NOTICE
tightened only.
When connecting the RF cable to the TV set, do not tighten
F-type connector with tools.
If tools are used, it may cause damage to your TV set.
(The breaking of internal circuit, etc.)

• Place the TV close to the AC outlet, and keep the power plug within reach.
CAUTION
TO PREVENT RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT TOUCH
UN-INSULATED PARTS OF ANY CABLES WITH THE AC CORD
CONNECTED.
The drawings used throughout this model are based on the
PN-UH701 model.

• Connect the antenna

• Follow the guide on the TV screen
to set the following settings.
  Language setting
  TV Location setting
  Channel search setting
  Smart TV setting
  SHARP Legal setting
