    Use only with a mounting accessory recommended by Vicon, or sold with the video product. Any mounting of the video product should follow Vicon’s instructions, and a mounting accessory recommended by Vicon should be used.

    In latching mode, the relay must be reset to remove the condition. The V1305R-DC is encased in a metal weatherproof enclosure. A 25 W heater option is available as an option, Model V1305R-H. Seven compression fittings are provided for routing cable.

    Make sure the unit is properly grounded via the earth ground of the power cable. Cover Removal To open the cover of the V1305R-DC, remove the four (4) screws from the top of the unit. When the cover is removed, it remains attached to the enclosure by a cord.

    Seven cable entry fittings are provided for routing of cables. All cables should be routed through cable entry fittings and terminated at the appropriate terminal block.     The V1305R-DC requires a maximum of 50 W. Choose the appropriate cable gauge for the total power requirement. Vicon strongly recommends the use of line conditioners, voltage regulators, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

    Option 1 setting requires MODE switch pole 1 to be ON and pole 2 to be OFF. The OPTION switch can then be set. The V1305R-DC is factory set with pole 8 OFF for the standard and preset ViStar25. If a continuous rotation model, VIST25-VRP, is being used, pole 8 should be set to ON.
