Vehicle Symbols

Following are examples of symbols you
may find on your vehicle. It is important
to become familiar with them, as they
alert you to various vehicle operating
conditions.

Air Conditioning (A/C)
Anti-lock Brake System Warning

Brake System Warning Light
Cruise Control Set
Dome Lamps Override Button

Control

Driver Information Center

Your vehicle's Driver Information Center
(DIC), located in the instrument panel
cluster, can display trip information,
personalization features and vehicle
warnings and messages. It can be
viewed in three languages.
The odometer is automatically displayed
when the engine is started.
Scroll through DIC Modes
Press and release the reset stem locat-
ed next to the DIC display on the instru-
ment panel cluster.
Trip Odometer
Press and release the reset stem until
TRIP is displayed. The trip odometer
displays the current distance traveled
since the last reset.
Reset the trip odometer: Press and
hold the reset stem for approximately
four seconds.
Engine Oil Life System
The system calculates the percentage of
engine oil life remaining before an oil
and oil filter change is needed. (This
service should be performed within 600
miles of the CHANGE OIL message
being displayed.)
Reset the engine oil life system:
1. With the engine Off, turn the key
to On.
