Important Safety and General Instructions Please keep this user manual in a safe place along with your purchase receipt and carton for future reference. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. 1. Read all instructions before using the Lenoxx EC06 Evaporative Cooler. 2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 3. Do NOT use the Evaporative Cooler for other than its intended use. 4. Before turning on, ensure the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit corresponds to those indicated on the rating label of the appliance. 5. To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the motor unit, cord set or plug in water or any other liquid, or rinse under a tap. 6. The Evaporative Cooler is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any type of separate remote control system. 7. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury. 8. This Evaporative Cooler is intended to be used indoors for household use only. 9. Before use, always ensure the Evaporative Cooler contains water. After cleaning, the water tank should be emptied. 10. Do NOT place the product in or near an open window as rain may enter the product and cause electrical short‐circuiting. 28. 1. ON/OFF To switch evaporative cooler on, press the ON/OFF (1) button. Press again to turn off. 2. Speed Selector – You can choose from 3 speeds by pressing the SPEED selector button (2) LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH. 3. Mode – Press the MODE button (3) to choose from the below options: Normal – Continuous operation at your chosen speed setting. Natural – In natural mode, the Cooler will cycle depending on the speed setting chosen: HIGH – cycles between HIGH/MED/LOW/OFF MEDIUM – cycles between MED/LOW/OFF LOW – cycles between LOW/OFF Sleep – In this mode, the Cooler cycles between MED/LOW/OFF. To activate sleep mode, you will need to set the TIMER to the period of the time that you desire. After the timer has expired, the Evaporative Cooler will switch OFF automatically and go to sleep. NOTE: ONE full cycle is approximately 100 seconds. The Cooler will stop blowing air during this cycle for a few seconds. This is a normal part of the Natural and Sleep mode cycle. 4. Timer ‐ The timer options are for 0.5, 1.5, 3.5 or 7.5 hours. Press the TIMER button (4) once to select 0.5 hours. The 0.5 will illuminate on the control panel. Press again to select 1.5 hours (both 0.5 and 1 will illuminate). ...

Remote Control – The Evaporative Cooler comes with a remote control unit for more convenience. The remote requires 2 x CR2032 lithium coin batteries (included). The functions on the remote control are the same as those on the control panel of the main unit. Operation 1. Place the Evaporative Cooler on a level, dry surface. 2. Open the water tank cover and pour in clean water or ice. If you use ice, you will actually get a cooler air temperature. Do NOT fill the water tank above MAX level indicator in the water tank. NOTE: If fresh water/ice is required for next use, (or to empty the water tank) place a water container or bucket under the plug hole (found on the bottom of the unit) and remove the rubber plug. The residual water will then drain out from the water tank. Figure: 2 Figure: 1 3. Select the wind speed by pressing the SPEED button. Please note the default wind speed is medium when you first press the ON button. 4. Press the MODE button to choose your desired setting. 5. Set the timer by pressing the TIMER button. The minimum setting is 0.5hr and maximum is 7.5hr. 6. To turn on horizontal oscillation, press the OSCILLATE button. You can control the vertical flow by manually adjusting the vertical louvres on the Evaporative Cooler. ...

Cleaning, Care and Maintenance NOTE: Always unplug the Evaporative Cooler from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool before servicing, relocating, cleaning, or storing it. Remove the rubber plug from the back of the unit and drain the water (place a bucket beneath the plug for the water to drain into). (see above figure 1 & 2 where rubber plug is found) Clean the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use abrasive or corrosive products. Clean the exterior surfaces only by wiping with a soft, damp cloth. Dust can be removed from the grille using a small vacuum. Do NOT disassemble the motor housing of this product for cleaning of internal parts, as doing so may result in product damage and will void the warranty. Do not immerse any part of the Evaporative Cooler in water or other liquid: It is essential that the motor's air vents be kept free from dust and lint.
