• Set the temperature to setting II.
• Allow the device about 50 seconds to heat up.
• To kill weeds, hold the weeding nozzle overthe weeds for about 5 seconds. Duringthese 5 seconds the
cell structure of theweed is destroyed. As a result, the weeddies within a few days.
• It is not necessary to completely burn theweeds, 5 seconds is more than sufficient.
• For an efficient treatment the weeding nozzleshould be held around 0 to 5 cm abovethe weeds
• The effects are not visible immediately butwill take a while before they can be seen. Itis more of a long-
term effect.
Keep all parts of the body away from the metal heating head. Do not touch it before it is
cooled down.
Carry the appliance by the handle with the metal heating head is cooled down.
Hold the appliance by insulated gripping surfaces only, because the metal heating head may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Keep cable away from metal heating head.

Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is used, it shall be suitable for outdoor

CLEANING:

Regularlyclean the machine housing with a soft cloth,preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilationslots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does notcome off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapywater. Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol,ammonia water,
etc. These solvents maydamage the plastic parts.
