    A 3 meter BNC interconnect cable is included for all standard models. A BNC cable is permanently hardwired to slim profile models. If you are using a Scientech indicator, connect the detector to the indicator with its cable. Follow the detailed set up instructions that are in the indicator’s instruction manual. If you are not using a Scientech indicator, operating requirements are contained in this manual.
  • Page 5 NOTE: Due to variability in the manufacturing process the absorption characteristics of the HD and P model detectors can vary in the UV region (190 to 400nm). Scientech recommends optical calibration at 266nm if the detector is to be used in the UV region instead of relying on an absorption rate in the chart at the end of this manual.
  • Page 6: Factory Recalibration

    All Scientech Laser Power and Energy Measurement Systems are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from date of delivery. During the warranty period, Scientech will repair, or at its option replace at no charge, components that prove to be defective. The equipment must be returned, shipping prepaid, to Scientech's product service facility.
