Recharge battery for 4-8 hours to ensure UPS performs expected runtime. OPTIONAL EXTERNAL BATTERY CONNECTION Both UPS-1000R and UPS-2200R Series models feature a connector that accepts an optional external battery pack (part number: UPS-EBPR, sold separately) that provides additional runtime. -
