Touch Control Scale
ON/OFF
Quick Guide
1. Remove the scale from the packaging.
2. Insert batteries (see the 'Replace Battery'
section of this manual).
3. Place the scale on flat and firm surface.
4.
Touch
the
button to switch
Tare
on the scale.
5. When "0" appears on the display, the
scale is ready for use.
Touch Button Operation
Tare
KG/LB
button
To switch On the scale,
touch
the
Tare
for 1 second and release.
If you want to TARE the scale to zero,
touch
the
button for 1 second and release.
Tare
To switch OFF the scale,
touch
and hold the
Tare
button for 3 seconds until the LCD display is switch
-ed OFF
KG/LB Button
The
touch button allows you to choose
Metric
KG/LB
(Kg/g) or lmperial (Lb/oz) as your preferred system of
measurement. However, you may switch between the
two systems at any time without resetting the scale to
zero.
Tare Function
The scale allows you to weigh each additional
item as it is added to the scale.
After weighing the first item on the scale and with
the item remaining on the scale,
touch
the
Tare
button to reset the scale to zero. You may then add
the second item on the scale and it will show the
weight of the second item only. You may repeat the
same steps for weighing consecutive items.
Weighing
Place the scale on flat and firm surface – this is
essential for correct measurement.
Touch
button to switch on the scale.
Tare
As soon as "0" appears, the scale is ready for use.
If you put your own bowl on the scale before
switching it on, the weight of the bowl has been
included and the display will show "0". You may
then put your items onto the bowl for direct weight
reading.
When the scale is in use and you want to use your
own bowl for weighing, you can simply place the
bowl on the scale and
touch the
button to
Tare
reset to zero.
The maximum weighing capacity of the scale is 5
KG. The display will show "Err" when the scale is
overloaded.
Auto-Off Function
You may switch off the scale at any time by
touching the
button and hold for 3 seconds.
Tare
In order to prolong the battery life, the scale will
be switched off automatically when the weight
reading is steady for about 180 seconds.
Replace Battery
When "
" blinks on the display, the
battery must be replaced. The scale requires
2 AAA (1.5V) batteries. The battery compart
-ment is located on the underside of the scale.
To replace the battery, you have to open the
compartment cover and remove the used
battery. Before you replace the new battery
into the compartment, please make sure the
battery is installed to the correct polarity
(+) / (-). See below:
!!Note: To save our environment, used
battery should be disposed through your
electrical dealer or local resource recycling
collection point.
