Energy Storage Capacitors
Energy Storage Capacitors are used to provide extra current needed by amplifiers to reproduce musical
®
transients. The capacitors also have the natural ability to filter AC ripple caused by the alternator,
reducing the chance of noise in the system. The capacitors are available in a variety of values and will
maximize both the sound quality and performance that Rockford Fosgate amplifiers can deliver.
• Recommended capacitance is 1 farad per 1000 watts
