Connect to a DS3 or STS-1 ThinMux Shelf
Connection to a ThinMux Shelf is made through the AUX ports (AUX RS-232 port DB-9 connector J10 or J9) on the
HRM-238 (Figure 2-5 on page
LTPH-UM-1116 for STS-1 ThinMux and LTPH-UM-1126 for DS3 ThinMux). The ThinMux RS-232 interface is a DCE
device; therefore, a straight through cable must be used to connect to the HRM-238 AUX port.
