What is AIBO Life?
By itself, AIBO is capable of only the most basic movements. For more complicated
operations, AIBO must be loaded with a AIBO-ware program that comes on a "Memory
Stick." AIBO Life is AIBO-ware that allows you to raise AIBO.
With the learning ability that AIBO Life provides, AIBO can adapt to you and its
environment. In short, AIBO learns to live according to your expectations. This is how
AIBO matures, and it is AIBO Life that makes it possible.
Raising AIBO
A number of simple principles lie behind the raising of AIBO. Once you know these
principles, you will be able to raise AIBO into the kind of companion that is right for you.
As AIBO lives with you, it will learn to reflect your Lifestyle.
Qu'est-ce qu'AIBO Life ?
AIBO lui-même ne peut qu'effectuer des mouvements de base. Pour des opérations plus
complexes, il doit être équipé d'un programme AIBO-ware disponible sur un "Memory
Stick". AIBO Life est l'AIBO-ware qui vous permet d'éduquer AIBO.

How do you do AIBO!
First of all, let's get AIBO ready for AIBO Life activity.

Turn AIBO upside down, and open its stomach
cover.

Insert the supplied AIBO Life "Memory Stick."

Insert the supplied battery pack and then close
the stomach cover.

Set AIBO's clock and sound volume (see the
"AIBO" ERS-210 operating instructions).

Place AIBO on the floor as shown below.

Press the pause button on AIBO's chest.

AIBO's modes and
conditions

AIBO has several modes and conditions.
Autonomous mode
This is AIBO's normal mode.
Rest mode
AIBO stops walking around.
Station transfer mode
AIBO assumes the "charging posture" that allows it to be
placed on the Energy Station (optional ). After being placed
on the station, AIBO continues to make various movements,
but does not dismount from the station on its own.
Jam condition
If something gets jammed in any of AIBO's joints, all of its
joints become loose.
Pick-up condition
When you pick AIBO up, its legs loosen to make it easier to
hold AIBO. Its head and tail continue moving in a cute way.
This condition is good for taking photos with AIBO.
Autonomous mode
AIBO moves around on its own.

Modes et états d'AIBO
AIBO possède plusieurs modes et états.
Mode autonome
Il s'agit du mode normal d'AIBO.
Mode sieste
AIBO cesse de se déplacer.
Mode transfert sur la station
AIBO adopte la "position de charge" qui lui permet d'être
placé sur la station d'alimentation (optionnelle). Après avoir
été placé sur la station, AIBO continue à effectuer divers
mouvements, mais il ne peut pas descendre de la station
seul.
Etat de blocage
Si un objet se coince dans l'une des articulations d'AIBO,
toutes ses articulations se relâchent.
Etat de transport
Lorsque vous soulevez AIBO, ses pattes se relâchent, vous
permettant ainsi de le maintenir plus facilement. Cet état
permet de prendre des photos avec AIBO.

for 3 seconds.

AIBOs verschiedene Modi

Bei AIBO gibt es eine Reihe unterschiedlicher
Betriebsbedingungen, "Modi" genannt.
Autonomer Modus
Dies ist AIBOs Normalzustand.
Ausruhmodus
AIBO läuft nicht mehr herum.
Stationsmodus
AIBO geht in "Ladeposition", so dass Sie ihn auf die
Energiestation (gesondert erhältlich) setzen können. Wenn
sich AIBO auf der Station befindet, kann er sich noch
bewegen, aber er klettert nicht allein von der Station
herunter.
Blockiermodus

lockern sich alle seine Gelenke.
Tragemodus
Wenn Sie AIBO hochheben, lässt er die Beine hängen, damit
Sie ihn besser halten können. Nur Kopf und Schwanz
bewegt er munter weiter. Dieser Modus ist für Fotos
besonders gut geeignet.
