SETTING DETOURS

You can program your SPOTTER to make a detour on a part of the calculated route.
Select Menu > Detour.
From the Detour options, select Avoid Roads.
An itinerary of your trip will appear. Click on the road you would like to
avoid then select Avoid Road.
The SPOTTER will take a few moments to plan an alternative to the
selected road, and then announce any change in distance the new route
will cause to your trip, and display a map of the new route.
Tap Accept and the SPOTTER will begin directing you according to the
new route.
If you decide not to use the new route, select Decline. The SPOTTER
will then return to your original route.
The SPOTTER will save the details of roads you wish to avoid. To clear the
memory, select Menu > Detour > Clear Avoided Roads.

ENDING A DETOUR

If you are on a detour route and would like to return to the original trip tap Menu >
Detour > End Detour.

OPTIMIZING STOPS

The SPOTTER has an Optimize Stops function, which will automatically rearrange
the stops within a trip to create the most efficient order. When you have
programmed a trip with more than 3 stops, tap Optimize. The SPOTTER will take a
few seconds to reorder your stops for the most efficient route. Your start point and
destination will not be altered. You can optimize up to 50 stops at once.
