Thank you for purchasing the Pocket Film Thickness Meter, a precision instrument for measuring the thickness of coatings.
＜FEATURES＞
・Automatically detects if material is iron/steel, or non-ferrous to determine measurement method. ( FTM-52FN only )
・Rotating head for measuring hard to reach surfaces such as inside of a pipe.
・Compact and lightweight. Can be used in narrow spaces or hard to reach areas using one hand.
・Auto-Off feature. Initialized to 1 minute, user settable to 5min., or 30min.
＜Substrates＞
・Iron and ferromagnetic material ( excluding nickle ) with a thickness of 300μm or more.
・Non-Ferrous materials with a thickness of 50μm or more. ( Conductive materials such as aluminum, brass, bronze, zinc,
lead, copper, nonmagnetic steel. ) ( FTM-52FN only )
＜Applicable Films and Coatings＞
・On iron/steel, can measure any nonmagnetic coating up to 5.0mm ( paint, varnish, plastic, enamel, rubber, ceramic, zinc. )
・On non-ferrous metals, can measure any non conductive coating up to 2.0mm ( paint, varnish, plastic, anodizing, rubber, etc. )
