    GB & IE 1. General Notes This Woodwarm gas appliance is a High Efficiency, Live Fuel Effect appliance. It provides radiant and convected heat using the latest burner technology. Before Installation, check that the local distribution conditions, nature of the gas and pressure, and adjustment of the appliance are compatible.

    GB & IE 2. User instructions. 2.1 Emergency Gas Isolation In the event of a gas leak or if gas is smelt, the appliance must be isolated. This is done by turning OFF the gas at the Isolation Tap. This Isolation Tap Must Be fitted by the installation engineer as near as possible to the appliance (within 2 meters of the appliance).

    GB & IE 2.4 Manual Turn OFF In the event that the appliance needs to be turned OFF manually, for instance, if the remote control is lost or the batteries become totaly flat, the control valve can be accessed and the switch flipped to OFF (marked “0”) (if equipped).

Before commencing Installation, confirm that the details on the appliance data plate correspond to the local distribution conditions, gas type and pressure to which the appliance is to be installed. Ensure that gas supply and supply pipe is capable of delivering the required volume and pressure of gas and is in accordance with the rules in force.

    GB & IE 3.4 Flue Connection The chimney or flue system must comply with the rules in force, and must be a minimum of 125mm in diameter (5"). The appliance is fitted with a 125mm flue connection, to use a 150mm diameter flue, a reducer will be required.

    GB & IE 3.5 Door Lock / Opening the Stove Door NOTE! This appliance must never be used if the glass door panel is broken, removed or if the door is not locked in to the closed position. Before gaining access to the burner tray, first make sure that the stove is switched off and is cold. Firstly remove the outer door, lift the door upwards then pull away from the stove.

    GB & IE 3.6 Fuel Bed Arrangements. When arranging the Media into the Firebed, it is imporant that the Pilot area is kept clear and that no Media enters the Pilot shield. The Pilot area includes the the pilot shield and the top of the burner to the first slot. When comissioning or servicing the Appliance Cross Lighting must be checked to ensure smooth lighting of the main burner from the Pilot Flame and smooth lighting of the effect burners from the main Burner.
  • Page 16 GB & IE Scatter the Bags of Embers over the top of the burner as shown, keeping the piot area and burner outlets clear. Position the 8 logs as shown. If desired, lay the glow strands amongst the logs in the flames to create an enhanced Glow.

    GB & IE 4. Servicing Turn the appliance OFF and isolate the gas supply. Ensure the appliance is fully cold before attempting to start servicing the appliance. No liability can be accepted by Woodwarm for injury caused by burning or scolding by a hot appliance.
