Ares ETHOS QX 130 Manual

This product is a lightweight, high performance WiFi FPV camera with a resolution of
1280x720px video at 30fps. The video is transmitted directly to your smartphone device
and recorded by your phone. Still photos can also be captured on your smartphone.
Suitable for the Ethos QX130 and the Shadow 240. For the Shadow 240, please refer to
the instruction manual supplied with your quad.
1. To mount the camera to your QX-130 without
modification, slide the front camera mount into the front
slot on the QX-130 leaving the rear mount to rest on the
outside of the rear slot. The camera is adequately secure
with only the front mount engaged.
2. If you wish to mount the camera into both slots you will
need to shorten the right rear leg mount so that it doesn't
interfere with the camera's WiFi antenna. Even if you cut
the leg mount there will still be enough socket remaining
so that the accessory legs can still be mounted when
other accessories are used.
3. The QX-130 has a 4-pin camera socket, the WiFi camera
only has a 3-pin plug. Plug the 3-pin plug onto the left 3
pins of the 4-pin socket and with the red wire to the left.
4. Go to the App Store for your device and look up the
WiFi_UFO app and download it to your smart device.
5. Plug the LiPo battery into the quadcopter.
6. Open your WiFi settings location and locate the WiFi
"LG_...." and connect to it.
7. Open the App WiFi_UFO and press "Play" to enter the
operation mode.
8. If the gimbal graphics are showing press "ON" to
hide the graphics. The WiFi camera does not utilize
these functions.
9. Install the smartphone holder onto the front of your
transmitter and clip smartphone in holder.
10. Control the flight of the quad with
your 2.4GHz transmitter.
11. Record video on your smartphone
by tapping the video icon.
12. Record still photo by tapping the
photo icon.
13. Access your recordings by tapping
the open file icon.
