6.2 Connection (1) Connect the “DATA+PoE” port of the PoE supported HUB with the camera by an Ethernet cable of Category 5e and more. (2) Connect the [DATA] port of the PoE supported HUB with the PC. (3) Power ON the PoE supported HUB. (4) Check the connections.
6.3 Setting of the “DDIPS Viewer” “DDIPS Viewer” is an application software to monitor the image from the camera. With the following process, register the camera to connect on the “DDIPS Viewer”. (1) Start up the “DDIPS Viewer” (2) The following window is indicated. (3) Click “Setting”.

(4) Directly type as the followings. Server Name Camera1 IP/DDNS 192.168.1.100 Port 7501 User ID root Password root As the Server Name, you can type an arbitrary easy name. In the above, “Camera1” is Note: an example name. After you complete the input of values, click the “Add” button. The information you set is registered in the Camera List.

(6) Click the “Connect” button in the Viewer screen. The image from the connected camera is indicated in the screen. (The mode of image to be indicated depends on the setting of the camera.) (7) Click the “Connect” button again to disconnect the connection.
Connection (Personal Setting) If connecting the camera in the LAN environment, it is required to set the IP Address of the camera to be identical to the specified IP address. In this section, it is explained to change the camera IP address information into the below example and connect to a PC.

(3) Type “root” in both of the ID frame and the Password frame. **** is indicated in the Password frame. (4) Click the “Apply” button. (5) “Admin Tool” is indicated, in which the setting value for the camera can be changed. The values currently applied are indicated for the IP Address and other factors.
(7) After complete to type, click the “Apply” button. (8) When “Setup Data sent!” is indicated, click the “OK” button. (9) If “Setup Data sent!” is indicated, click the “OK” button. Now, the process of changing the camera setting value is completed. When re-start the camera (by turning OFF/ON the power for PoE supported HUB), the system will start working with the newly set values.
Connections (connect to the multiple number of cameras) In this section, it is explained to connect multiple number of cameras with one PC in a network. 8.1 Registration the camera to the DDIPS Viewer (1) First, open the Setting window of the DDIPS Viewer. Assume that one camera of the below IP Address: 192.168.1.100 has been registered.
(4) After completed the typing, click “Add”. The new information is added into the Camera List. (5) Click “OK”. 8.2 Connection to the newly registered camera (1) Open the Setting window of the DDIPS Viewer. (2) Check that the information in the above RED frame is the newly registered camera information. If the information in the RED frame is the one of other camera and the information of the newly registered camera is indicated in the below list (RED arrow in the above Figure), double clicking the camera information to operate will indicate it in the above area.
(4) Click “Connect” again to display the image from the newly added camera. (5) Click “Connect” again to disconnect the connection. 8.3 Switch the Cameras If you want to see the image from another camera, click “Setting” and double click the camera to select in the Camera List.
About the Software 9.1 DDIPS Admin This is a software to handle the setting of the camera. Note: When setting, connect the camera with a PC one by one. Please refer to the description in the section 2. Connection (Initial Setting), and set the IP address of the PC to the same group of the IP address of the camera.
(3) Input the setting information IP Address : type the IP Address of the camera to access. Default value : 192.168.1.100 Port : type the port number of the camera to access. Default value : 7502 (using port No. is 7501~7505, and the second value 7502 is used for the setting.)...
(5) Type the setting information. ID : type the ID of the camera to access. Default value : root Password : type the password of the camera to access. Default value : root Note: Password is indicated as “ **** “. (6) After complete the typing, click “Apply”.

9.2 DDIPS Viewer This is a software to access to the connected camera. As well as monitoring the image from the camera, controlling the camera is possible. Double click “DDIPS Viewer” on the desktop, and the Viewer is indicated as below. 2...

9.2.5 Camera Control Panel (⑤) (1) P/T/Z Operation Panel This is the panel to control the Pan/Tilt/Zoom of the camera. Operation Buttons: Buttons to move the zoom area (the center button is not functional). Zoom Button / Auto Pan Bar : Zoom In : click to zoom-in.

9.2.6 Main Operation Button (⑥) (1) Connect : To connect with the camera selected by the Setting procedure. Click to connect and another click to disconnect the connection. (2) Setting - Connect : To add, delete, and change the information of the camera to be connected as well as to select the camera to be connected.
Edit, Save Button : To change any camera information registered in the Camera List. Click the camera name among the Camera List to change, and click the “Edit” button to change. The information of the selected camera is indicated in the Input / Indication area, then change the information.

Note : The capacity of the image from the camera through DDIPS is approx. 600 Kbyte/s. But it depends on the line condition and the camera mode. Note : To confirm the setting, click the “OK” button.
