Attaching the Battery

1. Hold the battery and attach it close to the
top of the radio chassis. (Note: Insert tab on
top of the battery into the top of battery slot.)
See Figure 2.
2. Lightly press the bottom of the battery
towards the radio and press the latch to the
battery until it clicks. See Figure 3.
Note: If the battery is not securely locked,
remove it and reattach it.

Removing the Battery

1. First, turn off the radio. Hold the top of
radio and press the belt clip to make its tail
turn up.

2. Release the battery latch and remove the
battery. See Fifure 4.
