Your subwoofer contains the following control to give you maximum flexibility in usage:
BASS LEVEL. Sets the loudness of the subwoofer signal to equal the sound of the
main speakers.
Subwoofer placement in the room is relatively unimportant. The subwoofer is
magnetically shielded, so you can place it beside the television, or anywhere you
choose in the room.
After you have placed and connected the subwoofer, complete the following adjustment
procedures to obtain maximum performance:
1. Turn on the POWER Switch (the red LED is activated).
2. Set your receiver or TV to a program featuring a male voice (such as a news
broadcast).
3. Adjust the bass level control so that you can just hear the subwoofer bass
sounds. A setting that is too high will make the voice sound unnatural.
Your subwoofer is now matched to your A/V system and should only need to be adjusted if
you change room location or change the location of your main speakers.
Your satellite speakers may be wall mounted vertically with a #8 expanding anchor using
the mounting panel located on the back of your speakers.
