IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.
WARNING
1. Do not pick up toxic, carcinogenic, combustible, or other hazardous materials such as asbestos, arsenic,
barium, beryllium, lead, pesticides, or other health endangering materials.
2. Do not pick up burning cigarettes or other smoking materials, ashes, matches or similar materials.
3. To avoid personal injury, use heavy gloves when removing glass, metal or other sharp materials from the dirt
hopper.
4. The dirt hopper should be emptied after each use.
5. This push sweeper is not designed for use with liquids.
6. Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
7. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
8. The operation of a push sweeper can result in foreign substances being blown into the eyes. Always wear
safety goggles when operating sweeper.
9. STAY ALERT. Watch what you are doing and use common sense. Do not use push sweeper when tired,
distracted, or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication causing diminished control.
10. WARNING! Do NOT use this push sweeper to sweep up lead paint debris because this may disperse fine
lead particles into the air. This push sweeper is not intended for use under EPA Regulation 40 CFR Part
745 for lead paint material cleanup.
Unpack the complete push sweeper from the carton and place the unit on a flat surface. Do not remove the
dirt hopper from the sweeper frame. Remove any other parts that may be in the carton.
The push sweeper requires some initial
assembly. In the hardware pack, you will find three ¼ x 1"
long phillips head screws, three lock washers, three flat
washers, four ¼ - 20 X 1¼" long slotted screws, four
external tooth lock washers, four hex nuts and six ¼ x 1"
long slotted screws. Use the image to review the part
names. Then follow the instructions to attach the side
broom, the push handle and the dirt hopper handle.
SIDE BROOM ARM ASSEMBLY
1. Partially lift hopper and remove side broom arm. Keep
tracking belt attached. NOTE: Tracking belt is preassembled
to the side broom arm and rear drive wheel. Use care in
removing side broom arm from dirt hopper.
