SunPro2000 TWO–CHANNEL PROGRAMMER
(with programmable room temperature and
frost protection options)
INSTALLATION INTRUCTIONS
N.B. All installations should be carried out by a
competent person and in line with current wiring
regulations.
WARNING
The programmer should not be removed from back
plate unless the unit is isolated from the electrical
supply.
1) Specification
a) Power Supply: 230 Vac ~ 50Hz
b) Rating: 3(1)A Total Load
c) Mains Fuse: 3A
d) Temperature control range : 0~35°C
e) Program Memory backup: 3Vdc Lithium CR 2032
(Memory sustains 30 days after outages)
e) Backlight (blue) Default : permanently ON
f)
Protection Class: IP 20
g) Standard British Gas system wiring back-plate.
2) P or G Mode Selection
a) When "P" is selected each channel to be
programmed independently.
b) When "G" is selected the CENTRAL HEATING
channel controls the HOT WATER channel.

3) Day programming mode selection
a) The selection is made by switching the 3-way
switch to the desired position, prior to installation.
b)
Reset the programmer after switching the 3-way
switch to the desired position. A blunt, non
metallic instrument should be used to press the
reset button.
c) 24H: All 7 days of the week are programmed with
the same programme times.
d) 5/2D: All 5 week days can be programmed with
the same programme times and the weekend
days can be programmed with a different
programme times.
e) 7D: Each day of the week can be programmed
with independent programme times.
4) Frost Protection function – selectable range
5~20°C
a)
This Function is set to protect water pipes
against freezing or to prevent the room from low
temperature, when programmer is in
programmed OFF or manual OFF.
b)
This function is activated by fitting one of the
jumpers (provided) in the
rear of the unit, prior to installation.
c)
Reset the programmer after fitting the above
jumper. A blunt, non metallic instrument should
be used to press the reset button.
d)
The
symbol will flash on the LCD to
indicate that the FROST PROTECTION function
is active.
5) Setting the Frost Protection set point
a) Move the selection switch to the "RUN" position
b)
Press both the
to select the manual OFF position (i.e. "ON 3 2 1
OFF").
c)
Hold down both the "+" and "-" buttons at the
same time for 5 seconds to enter the selection
mode.
d)
Press either the "+" and "-" buttons to set the
Frost Protection set point (between 5~20°C).
e)
Press the "OK" button to activate.
