Using Your Kettle 1. Set the base on a flat, even and steady surface. 1. Remove the kettle from the base. 2. Remove the lid and fill the kettle with water to the desired level. Do not fill the kettle past the MAX line, which is located inside the kettle near the handle. - Page 9 8. The number above the horizontal line shows you the preset tempera- ture that the water will boil to. 9. Press the power button again and it will turn red. 10. When the power button is red, you can adjust the temperature according to your preferred temperature.
