    IMPORTANT NOTICE If you have any questions regarding wire routing in a vehicle, please contact MTX Technical Support at 1-800-225-5689. When connecting power and ground wires ensure that the red power wire is fused at the point where it is connected to the vehicle’s battery. Failure to do so can result in damage to the vehicle if a short circuit develops between the vehicle connection point and the product.

    INSTALLATION Step 1 - Remove the two (2) T40 screws found in the top dash cover. Step 2 - Remove the two (2) trim panel pin rivets found on either side of the dash cover. Step 3 - Lift and pull back the top dash cover to release the clips holding it in place. M T X .
  • Page 5 Step 4 - Remove the two (2) T20 screws found at the bottom of the center dash panel and remove. Note: Disconnect any switches making sure not to damage the vehicle or switch wiring. Make note to remember what connector is associated with each specific switch. Step 5 - Prepare the new dash kit by aligning the radio with the four (4) pre-installed threaded posts.
  • Page 6 Step 6 - With the radio seated in place, install four (4) included retaining nuts using a 5.5mm socket or nut driver Note: This dash kit also offers space to mount additional rocker panel switches for accessories. On the rear of the dash kit, grooves are provided to give you proper location and size for mounting. Step 7 - Reconnect any switches or wiring harnesses and insert the radio and dash kit assembly into the dash opening.
  • Page 7 Step 8 - Mount the dash kit using the two (2) T-20 screws removed earlier. Note: You would now make any power, ground, and speaker connections using the supplied radio harness Step 9 - Reinstall the top dash panel and reattach using the hardware removed earlier. M T X .
