  • Page 2 Green numeric LED’s display the current input levels. If any level is in a preset condition, the respective display window will flash. The SBX-32 is an intelligent panel in that it will automatically configure itself to the size of the system for which the SCI-ADX is configured. See separate information on the SCI-ADX for details of system matrix configuration.
  • Page 3 The SBX-32 will only function with valid source data received from the SCI-ADX system control interface module. If SCI-ADX is set for 16 sources, the only SOURCE switches that are functional are 1-16.
  • Page 4 The COMM panel address table is shown below. AUTOTAKE S1-7 the AUTOTAKE function of the SBX-32. When the AUTOTAKE function is enabled, the TAKE request will automatically be generated whenever a valid input is selected.

    OUTPUT ADDRESS The SBX-32 is used to control one (1) output in an ADX matrix system. S2 switches 3 through 9 are used to configure which specific output an individual SBX-32 will control. The SBX-32 OUTPUT ADDRESS table below specifies the switch setting necessary to communicate to the SCI-ADX which output is to be controlled.

    SBX-32 THEORY OF OPERATION SBC-9632 MICROPROCESSOR PCB 1. POWER SUPPLY Power to the remote panel is supplied by a 9-12 VDC wall-pack power supply through J1. Polyswitch RT1 provides fault current protection to the wall pack supply and the remote panel.
