RETURNING PARTS
In the event parts are returned to the factory for any purpose, the.transportation charges
must be prepaid or the parts will not be accepted. The name and address of the shipper must be
written plainly on the package. Each individual part must also be tagged with the name and
address of the shipper, the name of the owner of the car and the type and engine number of the car,
also the number of miles the car has been driven. Be sure to write us at the time the package is
shipped, stating what is being shipped, how it is being shipped (mail, express or freight) and what
disposition is to be made of the parts. This is necessary regardless of any former correspondence.
In addition, reference should be made by date to previous correspondence.
REPAIRS TO ACCESSORY UNITS
In case it becomes necessary to make repairs to tires, speedometer, clock, storage battery,
cigar lighter, mirror, windshield wiper, or other accessories, correspondence should be opened
directly with the manufacturers or one of their branches. Shipment should be made transporta-
tion charges prepaid.
KEY TO ABBREVIATIONS OF BODY STYLES
In many cases parts are interchangeable on different body styles. The following abbreviations
are used instead of the name of body to indicate on which chassis or with which bodies parts
are used:

NOTE:—Shipment of 1st design (SB) Job No. 4400 was completed Oct. 25, 1921, and 1st
design (I) and (L) Dec. 23, 1921. The 1st design Victoria may be identified by Job No. 4420
and the 2nd design by Job No. 4630.
Parts for the Landau Sedan are identical with those used on the standard Sedan.
INTERCHANGEABILITY OF PARTS
The interchangeability of Type 61 parts on eight cylinder cars is indicated under the heading
of "Type" which appears on each page of this Parts List.
Parts listed "In" are interchangeable on some other eight cylinder type of car.
Parts listed "61" are not interchangeable on any other eight cylinder type of car.
