Zoom
Telephoto and wide-angle shootlng are possible at 3x magnification (the
op~cal zoom limit. equivalent to 38 mm - 114 mm on a 35 mm camera). By
combining the optical zoom with the dlgllal zoom. zoom magnifica~on can
be
increased to a maximum of approxlmately 10x .
Using the optical zoom

Slide the power switch to 0 ,
pressing and holding the lock
button.
• The camera tums on in the Shooting
mode.
• The lens extends and the monftor tums
on.

Push/pull the zoom lever wh ile
observing the subject on the
monitor.

Telephoto: Pull the zoom lever
toward T to zoom in .
