    KS-111E 1. Definition of used terms Recording unit Performs recording of image from cameras on hard disk. IP monitor Displays the live image from one or more cameras (maximum four). When more than camera is displayed, quadruple (4Q) mode is used, where monitor screen is splitted into 4 equal rectangulars, into which are directed video streams from cameras.

    KS-111E 2. Introduction This document describes putting into operation and setting the 111E (KS-111e) engine camera system from software point of view. Document does not care about mechanical assembly, which is solved in Opera- tion manuals of individual components (see Related documentation).

Putting system into operation When putting system into operation we suppose, that all system components are properly mounted and capable of operating and that power supply is cor- rectly attached to all units. The Ethernet infrastructure must be properly installed and all powering and communication cables attached to units.

    KS-111E Camera system restart Until restart of camera system has been done (power supply off and on) the new version of application does not manifest itself. When no image appears on monitors after restart, loading of files was not per- formed properly.

    KS-111E After adjusting the required lens position you can focus the camera image. Focusing the camera lens Camera is delivered with lens set by manufacturer. Therefore it is necessary to check the image quality and when needed, the lens must be focused as best as possible.

Warning: Any intervention to camera configuration (except for actions described be- low) are not recommended.
