KS-611M 1. Definition of used terms IP monitor Displays the live image from one or more cameras (maximum four). When more than single camera is displayed, quadruple (4Q) mode is used, where monitor screen is splitted into 4 equal rectangular, into which are directed video streams from cameras.
KS-611M 2. Introduction This document describes commissioning and adjusting of camera system (CS) from software point of view. Document does not care about mechanical assembly, which is solved in Opera- tion manuals of individual components (see the Related documentation). 7/53...
KS-611M 3. Technical parameters 3.1. System description KS-611M is a digital IP camera system. All cameras and monitors communicate via Ethernet line. System functionality is determined by software used in IP monitors and re- cording unit. To look over layout of individual components within the vehicle see the AP- PENDIX A –...
KS-611M 3.4. Software Software is published as software package, released at a certain date. Actual software package contains all files needed for the entire camera system. Content of actual valid program set is stated at APPENDIX D – Software pack- age contents.
KS-611M 4. System commissioning When putting system into operation, we suppose: all system components are properly mounted and capable of operating. Power supply voltage is properly connected to all units Ethernet infrastructure must is properly installed and all powering and communication cables are attached to units. For proper operation of CS only components mentioned below must be used.

KS-611M To load a new version of an application into IP monitor is necessary to perform the following steps: Connecting to monitor’s FTP server Deleting of previous application files Copying of new application files Camera system restart ...
Page 16
KS-611M Fig. 10 - TC – Connecting to FTP server Enter the parameters for connecting to first monitor (APPENDIX E – Configura- tion parameters, IP monitor): Session name: Monitor_A „AIPM_A_IP“ Host (Port): „AIPM_Login“ User name: „AIPM_Password“ Password: Fig. 11 - TC – Monitor_A parameters Press the OK button.
KS-611M Fig. 12 - TC – Connection to Monitor_A Press the Connect button. Deleting of previous application files Identify, in which window have been displayed files from connected monitor (according to heading - see figure), and delete them. Fig. 13 - TC – Identification of FTP contents Copying of new application files Copy the new version of application.
KS-611M Thanks to duration of copying process (typically 10 to 20 s), the communication seems „frozen“ for a short time. This behave is quite common. In case that „freezing“ takes several minutes, restart the camera system (power supply off and on) and repeat the procedure from the beginning of chapter 4.3.4 Loading of actual version of application.
KS-611M Verification must be performed for all monitors. 4.2. Cameras commissioning Commissioning of IP camera consists of following steps: Camera identification Firmware update Loading configuration template Camera lens setup Equipment Any service notebook with installed ACM program (installation of ACM see Ap- needed pendix F).

KS-611M Taking off the camera cover In order to take off the camera cover, two bolts which holds it must be released. Fig. 31 - The bolts which holds the camera cover Then, using a special plastic tool or flat screwdriver lift up and release the cam- era cover.
KS-611M Fig. 33 - Camera body legend Camera lens position setup Position of camera lens affects the image, which is captured by camera. Posi- tioning (the range of which is mechanically limited a bit) is realized by turning the head with lens while viewing the captured image over Live View on com- puter screen.
KS-611M Fig. 35 - Focusing the camera lens For focusing is used the tool mentioned above. Rotate the lens clockwise or counter clockwise while image sharpness is checked through Live View. Pay a maximum attention to cleanness of lens when rotating! Once the focusing is completed, place the top cover back on the camera.
KS-611M Current version of application software (see Appendix D). 4.3.1 Power supply connector wiring check Checking of correct wiring of recording unit power supply is necessary before unit first switching on. SB labelled terminal must be essentially used for switching the unit off. Terminal with label +U should be connected permanently to battery voltage.
4.3.3 IP address setup Turn the recording unit power supply on and wait for about 1 minute. Connect the service notebook to vehicle Ethernet network and start the Amit- DeviceDetection.exe tool. Fig. 38 - AmitDeviceDetection start up Wait, while the Ethernet network is scanned.
