STEP 3 - INSTALL DRAIN TUBE TO
DRAIN PUMP
(Optional)
If you plan to operate your dehumidifier continuously, and it
requires a longer hose to reach a floor drain, or the drain is
located above the dehumidifier, connect the 16 ft (4.9 m)
drain tube with drain tube fitting (provided) to the drain pump
connector on the back of the dehumidifier. When the level of
the water inside the collection bucket reaches the specified
level, the drain pump will automatically pump the water to
the drain.

Remove the drain tube from the water collection
bucket.

Insert the drain tube fitting into the drain pump
connector located on the back of the dehumidifier.

Push the drain tube fitting as far as possible into the
drain pump connector.
NOTE: Make sure that the drain tube fitting has
securely snapped into position.

Insert the opposite end of the drain tube into the drain.
5.
To remove the drain tube, turn the knob of the drain
pump connector clockwise 45° while pulling out the
drain tube fitting.
NOTE: The drain tube fitting will pop away from the
drain pump connector.

STEP 4 - COMPLETE INSTALLATION

Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove the ground prong from the power
cord plug.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to do so can result in death, fire or
electrical shock.
1.
Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in a
suitable location. See "Location Requirements."
2.
Make sure the water collection bucket is inserted
correctly into the dehumidifier.
NOTE: If the Bucket Full indicator illuminates,
remove the water bucket and check that the float
lever moves freely.
3.
Plug the power cord into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
