Quick install guide The IXS600 can be mounted in a 19-inch rack or used in a standalone setup. Rack mount ears are included in the package and can be mounted on both sides of the switch depending on user requirements. Rubber feet are included in the package and should be applied beneath the switch to avoid scratches. -

In combination with the IXH610 adapter, up to 20 nodes can communicate using Dolphins NTB driver. In reflective memory configurations, up to 56 nodes can be interconnected. -

Transition cable to lower lane width The IXS600 switch can be connected to other PCIe equipment having a lower lane width (x4, x2, or x1) using a transition cable. The switch will automatically adjust to the lower lane width as well as lower PCIe speed (Gen1, Gen2) to meet the requirement for the connected PCIe device. -

The switch will distribute its configured hostname to the DHCP server. The hostname is usually equal to the serial number for newer switches. It is usually “ixs600” for older switches. On the configuration tab, please enter IP-settings suitable for your network. Ask your systems administrator for the correct configuration on your network. -

Please contact Dolphin support before trying to upgrade any firmware not included in the switch.
