12. Turn On Heaters & ReCirculation Fan
NOTE: Each heater must be powered from it's own circuit.
Typical residential and commercial buildings have one
circuit per room. Use the included extension cords to
reach outlets in other rooms (where necessary).
Three power cords are included in each ZappBug Room,
one with two female ends. Plug the recirculation fan into
one female head on this cord, and one heater into the
other, then plug into one of the included timers. Repeat this
process with the other heaters, cords, and timers. You will
not need to use an extension cord for one of the heaters -
just plug it directly into a timer. After that, plug the timers
into electrical outlets.
Once the timers are plugged in you can select the different time lengths by pressing
the on button to cycle through them. We recommend treating for 8 hours if you
are not there to monitor the temperature; see page 14 for more information on

treatment time.

Safety Tip-Over
Switch
Safety Note: The heaters draws 1500 watts of electrical power. Do not use
extension cords rated below 1500 watts.
Heaters not turning on?
When heaters are plugged in and timer is on they
should automatically be powered on. If they are not
check the safety tipover switch - that will be a little
black button on the bottom of the red square ther-
mal unit. This button needs to be pressed in for the
thermal unit to turn on and is designed so that if the
unit is knocked over (possibly blocking the vents) it
turns off for safety. When the thermal unit is plugged
into a wall outlet and the red unit is flat on the
ground the button should naturally be pressed in and
the heater should turn on.
