To end a call
Select
, or press Jog Dial.
End call
Incoming calls
When you receive a call, if the calling party is found in
Contacts, the name of the caller is displayed. If there is a picture,
it is also shown in a small or large version. See 'Incoming call
picture' on page 50.
To handle an incoming call
Use the screen buttons to select what to do.
– Answer the call.
Answer
– Reject the call. The calling party hears a busy
Send Busy
signal, and the call is logged as a rejected call.
– Silence the ringtone. The calling party will not notice
Mute
that you have silenced the call. The call is logged as a missed
call.
You can also answer by voice control, see 'Voice control' on
page 50.
Options during or after a call
There are several options available, depending on the situation.
You can access some of them using the screen buttons, by
tapping the field with the calling party details, or on the menus.
Phone
Options that concern two or more active calls are described in
'Handling two or more calls' on page 44.
– End the active call.

– Put the active call on hold/retrieve the

– Create a new Contacts entry. This option

– Display the entry in Contacts, if any, that
