    Note: Using a power supply with a different voltage than the one included with the DAP-2553 may damage the unit and will void the warranty for this product. If any of the above items are missing, please contact your reseller.
  • Page 3 Using an Ethernet cable, insert one end of the cable to the LAN port on the rear panel of the DAP-2553 and the other end of the cable to a switch. Note: You can also connect the DAP-2553 directly to the computer that will be used for configuration.

  • Page 5 Connect one end of an Ethernet cable (included with your package) to the LAN port on the DAP-2553 and the other end of the Ethernet cable to your computer or to your PoE switch. The AP can be powered on by a PoE switch or by the power adapter shipped with the AP.

    Then, refer to the manual for configuration. Note: If you have changed the default IP address assigned to the DAP-2553, make sure to enter the correct IP address. • Type admin in the User Name field. • Leave the Password field blank.
