Menu functions
•
Linger time (sec.): set a time
period after which the network is
disconnected if there has been no
new data traffic in that time.
•
Advanced settings: provide you
with the following options:
Static IP: specify if you want to
manually enter an IP address; see
the Local phone IP option. If you
want the IP address to be
automatically assigned by the server,
remove the check mark.
Local phone IP: enter the IP
address obtained from the network
operator, if you checked the Static
IP option.
Static DNS: specify if you want to
manually enter the Domain Name
Server (DNS) address; see the
Server 1/Server 2 option.
If you want the address to be
automatically assigned by the server,
remove the check mark.
Server 1: enter the Domain Name
Server (DNS) address.

Server 2: enter the Domain Name
Server (DNS) address.
Traffic class: select the traffic class.
3. Press <Save> to save the profile.
Using profile options
From the profile list, press <Options> to
access the following options:
•
View: view the properties of the
selected profile.
•
Edit: edit the profile.
•
New: add a new profile.
•
Rename: change the profile name.
•
Delete: delete the profile.
•
Restore: restore the changed settings
to the default status.
Application settings
You can customise the settings for using
applications available on the phone.
Orange World

Use this menu to select a connection profile
to be used for accessing the Internet. You
can also create or edit a profile.
