Call functions
New call: make a new call.
Contacts: access the contact list.
Send text message: create and send a
new SMS message.
Send DTMF: send the DTMF (Dual tone
multi-frequency) tones as a group. The
DTMF tones are the tones used in phones
for tone dialling, sounding when you
press the number keys. This option is
helpful for entering a password or an
account number when you call an
automated system, like a banking
service.
Memo: create a memo.
Transfer: transfer the currently active
call to a caller on hold. The two callers
can talk to each other, but you are
disconnected from the call.
Join: set up a multi-party call by adding
a caller on hold to a currently active call.
You can include up to 5 people on a
multi-party call.

Split: have a private conversation with
one multi-party call participant. The
other participants can converse with
each other. After the private
conversation, select Join to return both
private participants to the multi-party
call.
Drop: disconnect the call currently on
hold or active call.
Drop call: disconnect one multi-party
call participant.
End call: disconnect the call currently
on hold, active call, or all calls.
Using the video call feature
In a 3G (UMTS) service area, your phone
can make or receive a video call, allowing
you to see the other person on the screen
during a conversation. The other person's
phone must support the video call feature.
Making a video call
1. In Idle mode, enter the area code and
phone number.
2. Press [
].
The other person appears on
the screen when he/she accepts.
