Inserting Batteries into the Keyboard
1. Open the battery compartment located on the bottom of the Gini
Learning Keyboard™.
2. Insert 4 "D" cell batteries, following the diagram inside the battery
compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover.
Note: The Green light of the Power Button will flash several times
and power down when the unit's battery level is low. If the unit
repeatedly powers down or disconnects, we suggest changing to
new batteries.
BATTERY NOTICE
• Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Standard size (D) rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the
toy before being charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged by an adult or by
children 8 years or older.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc)
or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to
be used.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
