Setting the Phone Lock

Select Menu > Settings > Security > Phone Lock.
Phone Lock On: Enable the Phone Lock function.
Phone Lock Off: Disable the Phone Lock function.
Change Code: Change the phone lock. The default phone lock code
is 0000.
After the phone is locked, you can still dial the emergency numbers.

Setting PIN Lock

PIN protects your UIM card from unauthorized use.
PIN code should be delivered with your UIM card by the service provider.
Select Menu > Settings > Security > PIN Lock for the following options.
PIN Lock On: Activate PIN code check function.
PIN Lock Off: Deactivate the PIN code check function.
Change Code: Change the PIN code. After you enter the new PIN
code twice, the message "PIN changed!" is displayed.
Note:

Call Restrict

Your phone provides the Call Restrict function.
1. Select Menu > Settings > Security.

If you enter wrong PINs for 3 times, the phone prompts you
to enter the correct personal unlocking key (PUK).
If you enter wrong PUKs for 10 times, the UIM card becomes
invalid permanently. Contact the service provider for a new
UIM card.
