Filter

The luminance contrast of the ICE display CD4 is sufficient for operation
without contrast enhancement filter. For best overall performance of the
monochrome CB1 and CB3 displays in high or low ambient light levels, a
neutral gray circular polarizing filter with anti-reflective coating or etch is
recommended. This filter will make the background of the display darker and
will improve the luminance contrast ratio. The anti-reflective coating on the
filter should face the user.
