utility
is
provided
for
customers
in
areas
where
the
AC power
is
50
rather
than
60
Hz.
It
should
not
be used by any
other customers,
herzso simply
places
a
patch
on
the diskette
that
changes
the
clock speed
for
50
Hz
users.
herzso
is
a
do
file
that
makes
a
change
in
the
software of
trsdos.
Only
the
Drive
diskette
is
changed.
Be
sure
it
is
write-enabled before
you
start
the
do-
file.
Once
the
herzso change
is
done,
it
will
remain
in
effect for that diskette.
To perform
the
change,
type:
DO
HERZ50
Once
the
change
has
been made, you
will
need
to reset
the
system
to
put
the
change
into effect.
This
loads
the
new
software
into
ram.

Line
Printer
Control
LPC
The
lpc
utility
program
allows
trsdos
to
ignore multiple carriage
return
commands.
Without
lpc, a
top-of-form (LPRiNTCHR$(i2))
command
will
add
an
extra carriage return/line
feed
each time
it
is
executed. Also,
lpc
masks
the
high
bit
of
each
data
byte,
allowing
you
to
send
certain intercepted
codes
to
the
printer.
For
instance, the
basic statement lprintchr$o40)
will
send code
140-
128=
12
(LPRiNTCHR$(i2))
to
the
Printer.
