Backing
Up
TRSDOS-II
Data
Diskettes
Using
a
Hard
Disk
System
You need
at
least
two
floppy
diskette drives
for this
method.
1
.
Power up under
hard
disk
control.
2.
Insert
the
TRSDOS-II
source data
diskette
into
Drive
0>
Insert
the destination diskette
into
Drive
2.
Use
a double-sided
diskette
for
maximum
storage space.
3.
Enter the
date
and
time.
4.
When
TRSDOS-II Ready
is
displayed,
type:
BACKUP
TO
2 CENTER]
"Backup
Successfully
Completed"
is
displayed
when
the
backup
is
finished.
TRSDOS
Backup
The
TRSDOS BACKUP
utility
makes
a
copy
of
a
diskette,
If
you
have
enough
floppy
diskette
drives,
you can use
this
utility
to
copy
any
TRSDOS
system
or
data
diskette.
When
backing
up any
TRSDOS
diskette,
keep
TRSDOS
2.0b
in
Drive
0.
Put the
diskette
you
wish
to
back up
("source"
diskette)
in
another
drive.
Backing
Up
TRSDOS
System
Diskettes
To back
up any
diskette
that
contains
TRSDOS,
follow
the
steps
given
under "Backing
Up
Your
Thinline
TRSDOS
2.0b
Diskette,"
in
Chapter
7.
Substitute the
TRSDOS
system
diskette
for
the
TRSDOS
2.0b
System
Diskette.
Model 16B and Enhanced Model
12 Users:
To back up
a
TRSDOS
system
diskette,
you must
first
patch
it
for
use on
Thinline
drives.
